two to p teams facing each other, with Duisburg playing all 5 games so far over the number and Bielfeld 4 of 5 over the number...both teams should score here and go for the win.

Karlsruhe- Frankfurt: Karlsruhe -1,-1.5 @ 1.90

Karlsruhe has fired the coach after 4 games and disappointing start and came back with a great 4-2 away win..they were picked as one of the top teams in league and should now start to get back on track. they are strong enough at home and with the extra motivation to beat a Frankfurt team,which is at the bottom of the table and especially in away games very weak (0-3 and 0-4)

Schalke- Wolfsburg: WOlfsburg pk,+0.5 @ 2.00

Wolfsburg lost last 3 games in league in very high scoring fashion, but they have shown they can play in midweek ECL win over Moscow...they are strong enough to get at least a point at Schalke which is struggling a bit at the moment. they had a terrible game in last home loss to Freiburg and played terrible as well at Köln (although they won in with 2 goals on 3 chances).i really like Wolfsburg to get back on track in league today.

Hello, great picks on Wolfsburg and Bielefeld today... Do you think Mainz can get a result away to Bochum tomorrow? I was thinking of taking them at pk and +0.5 Reason being they've had some good results this year (beating Bayern, tieing Leverkusen), and have a great record vs Bochum: Beating them in Bochum 0-1 and 2-6 the last two years. In fact you have to go back to 2001 to find a Bochum win in this matchup.

Ahlen- Düsseldorf : under 2.5 @1.83 !! 2 units!!

Ahlen had from 5 games so far only one game ending on 3 goals. all others were under the number. reason for that is their struggling offense. they lost first game 1-2 at St.Pauli and havent scored since. but that shows also that for a team at the bottom they have a solid defense conceiding only 7 goals in 5 games. at home they have the same offenive problems , but the away team is not attacking so much..that results in even lower scoring games . so far their home games were 0-0 and 0-1.
That combined with Düsseldorf s attitude to also play from strong defense makes it a great play.
Düsseldorf as newly promoted team plays especially at home very agressive, but always from strong defense. although only 3 of 5 games ended under so far, the overs were two 3-0 games which went out of hand a bit in the end.Düsseldorf has conceided 0,1,0,3,1 goals so far. they will be happy with a draw here and i dont expect a very offensive approach by them.
a 0-0 or 1-0 type game what not surprise me here.

Koblenz- Oberhausen: Oberhausen +1 @ 1.82

i dont understand the line...it s based on last season. Fürth is always one of the top teams in league, but t hey are struggling this season..as always they play very high scoring games as they like offense , but also conceiding a lot. they lost their last 2 games havily and are in a bit of a crisis right now.
Oberhausen played very solid so far havent loss since the opening game. they have very impressive results so far winning at Rostock and drawing at Augsburg as well as the recent home win over Aachen...they should at least stay in the game from a strong defense (not conceiding in last 3) with a good chance to get even points here...+1 is just way too much.

München- Nürnberg -1.5 @ 1.78

München is back on track winning 3-0 vs. Wolfsburg, 5-1 at Dortmund and 3-0 away in ECL..Nürnberg is struggling especially on the offensive end..
today is start of famous bavarian "Oktoberfest" and this is always a special time for Munich, in which they are normally very motivated and succesful..even more considering that this is a bavarian derby vs. Nürnberg, which bayern usually owns.
München the much better team here will try to put on a show today.

Hannover- Dortmund: Dortmund pk @ 1.85

both teams struggling abit right now, but Dortmund remains a dangerous team and Hannover is in big,big personal trouble. they are missing 8 players from starting 11 including their whole offense and national-team goalie Enke...it could be a draw , but Dortmund with a good chance to get some points here.

Gladbach- Hoffenheim: under 2.5,3 @1.95

Hoffenheim is coming off two wins now..they are still struggling on offense and are not as strong as last year, but they seem to put much more emphasize on strong defense this year. this has resulted in these results so far: 1-1,1-0,0-0,0-1,3-0
Gladbach is looking strong so far at home, but i expect them to struggle today with scoring. last years match ended 1-1 on an injury time goal by Hoffenheim.

for those considering Mainz: i am staying away from this match and would actually lean Bochum.
Mainz is off to an surprising start, but that came with great results at home, where they are carried by a special great atmosphere in their small arena. in away games they lost already 0-2 at Gladbach and play 1-1 at not really strong Hannover.
Bochum has not lost this season at home getting a draw and a win..they are solid at home.
Also Mainz has big injury / illness problems: they still playing with their 3rd goalie, two guys in midfield are out with injury (but they already were for last matches) and Bungert their defensive top player is out with flu (actually there are rumors that more players might be affected by flu in the team right now).
only thing pointing towards Mainz here is a history of 2 wins in a row at Bochum..not enough for me to play it.

What you think about Bayer/Werder going Under 3,3.5 @ 1.83 ? I see that the mathes in Bremen are tight with only couple of overs and in their last 4 H2H meeting it went even under 2.5..

there is definetely some value in that play, but i will stay away...i expect Leverkusen to win, but you never know with that Bremen team..they can play like against München and play solid and low scoring or winning 3-2 like at Berlin.

St.Pauli- Kaiserslautern: St.Pauli pk,-0.5 @1.90 !! 2 units!!

St.Pauli with very strong start in season is the league leader and coming off two great away wins. They are very strong at home and facing today a Kaiserslautern team which is also a surprise to be in 3rd spot.But Kaiserslautern , same as last season, is a different team in away games to home games. in home games they are full of confidence and attacking a lot in away games it s the opposite and they tend to play low scoring games..home advantage is a big and deciding factor here today.

Augsburg- Rostock: Augsburg -0.5 @1.90

Augsburg was picked as pre-season fav, but didnt play too well so far due to injury problems. they have shown lately signs of coming back and have now 2 home games in league in a row..an opportunity they should use starting today. Rostock also with some struggles early in the season, but that was expected as they are only a mid-table team this year. they got some nice results at home, but Augsburg away should be too much today.

Frankfurt- Hamburg: Hamburg -0.5 @2.05

Frankfurt with surprising ggod start plays solid and is always dangerozus. still they are a mid-table team and often struggling at home where they have to make the play (2 draws so far).
Hamburg is playing great offensive and sucessful football so far in league, but they are coming of their first big loss . a 0-3 in euro-league at wien...this should work as extra motivation and i expect a big bounce back here today. they are the better team and if they come to play (and they will) they have a great chance to stay on top of league with win here.

Leverkusen- Bremen: Leverkusen pk,-0.5 @ 2.01 !! 2 units!!

Leverkusen playing great so far this season..lots of offensive power and the defense has settled under coach Heynkes..finally they also solved their home problem from last year by moving to their newly built arena.
Bremen is struggling again this season with inconsistency.. the loss of Diego hurts a lot , although Özil is trying his best so fill the gap: BUT Özil is out for today and with Bremen s struggles on defense i chance cannt see them stopping Leverkusen for 90 min.
another big factor here is, that Leverkusen could rest during the week, while Bremen had to fight hard to the last minute on Thursday to get a Euro win at Portugal.
